We are in need of Christian bands and musicians to perform on Saturday nights at our free concerts. These concerts provide a safe environment for people to escape the dangers and temptations of the wild night time streets of Skid Row. People are able to listen to live music with a spiritually beneficial message, as well as having a chance to hear the gospel preached and testimonies of the love and power of God. If you are a Christian musician, part of a Christian band or know of someone who fits that description please contact us. We are also in need of worship leaders to help with our Wednesday evening worship services. These services offer a time of praise and worship, along with a short 15 to 20 minute message preached. Please consider helping us with our feeding program. We are in need of churches and church groups to help with our feeding program. We serve food nightly in a nearby local park. We need volunteers to prepare and assist in serving each evening. Most groups volunteer once or twice a month, but you are welcome to come as often as you are able. Skid Row is located in the heart of Los Angeles and is home to more then 10,000 homeless. Skid Row has the highest concentration of violent crime on the West Coast. On any given night there are hundreds of makeshift cardboard shelters and tents lining the streets. Drugs are so prevalent in this area one can often see people smoking crack or shooting heroin as casually and openly as someone smoking a cigarette in other areas...
We offer a wide variety of audios available for your edification. We have many bible studies, Sunday services and open air preaching sermons from The Jonah Project and the streets of Skid Row.
