This video is a wonderful testimony to The Jonah Projects unique ability to help the people of Skid Row. Jayson is a mentally disabled man who has lived on Skid Row for 6 years. No other group has been able to help him. One community center even turned to the local news to try to help Jayson to no avail. But because of the unique relationship The Jonah Project has with the residence of Skid Row and local service agencies we were able to help Jayson where others had failed. Jayson trusted us enough to allow us to help him. Praise the LORD!!!

Skid Row is located in the heart of Los Angeles and is home to more then 10,000 homeless. Skid Row has the highest concentration of violent crime on the West Coast. On any given night there are hundreds of makeshift cardboard shelters and tents lining the streets. Drugs are so prevalent in this area one can often see people smoking crack or shooting heroin as casually and openly as someone smoking a cigarette in other areas...
