Our Revolution Is Our Revolutionary!

Like Israel, we will not receive a political savior, leading a political revolution, freeing us, or any other people from political bonds. Unlike Israel, we have the finished story, and we understand that our savior, our revolutionary, and our revolution is far more important, even eternal. Our revolution IS our revolutionary, Jesus Christ.

Some were upset to find out that Jesus was not what they were seeking in their Messiah. They did not understand what Jesus brought, they did not understand that his revolution would carry far beyond Rome. Rome is dead, and Jesus is not. In their desire to make their savior fit their vision, they lost who he truly was, and were, and some are still, left waiting for the savior they wanted.

This was nearly 2000 years ago, and the same thing happens today. Even with the whole plan written out in front of us, some of us still miss out on who our savior is, either because we mold his revolution into ours, rendering it fallible and weak, or we continue waiting for our revolutionary, sitting back doing nothing for the revolution. Do not be dismayed, we have our revolution laid out, it is not political, it is far better, it is love.

Do not confuse Jesus Christ, our Lord, with a political revolutionary, or you will miss the beauty of who he is.

Our revolution long outlives political regimes, kings, and earthly leaders of any kind. Our revolution is eternal, it brings glory to God, love to all men, including enemies, and it ushers in the new heaven, the only kingdom worthy of a revolution.
